A Little Rant Before the 4th

As the House passed the Climate Change Bill last week I found myself in a state of introspection, ruminating upon the fact that President Obama has become the memento mori of our great Republic.

Nobody can acquire honor by doing what is wrong.” - Thomas Jefferson

Succinctly stated, and a veracious representation of the political dynamic that comprises the Democratic party. The cunning machinations of demagogism have eviscerated the core principles of republicanism; rule by the consent of the governed, and sovereignty of the people. We the people are no longer sovereign and those we elect to public office are disinclined to effect the will of the people. Instead, we have party ideology, syndicalism, Tammanyism, and cronyism, all combined to determine the course of our economic and political future. The proclivities of the left are fundamental knowledge; extirpating individual sovereignty and supplanting it with perverse egality is but one of many subsets within their abnormal delectations.

Review the following quotes from Obama;

I am a firm believer in the power of the free market.”

I actually would like to see a relatively light touch when it comes to the government.”

There is no individual salvation without collective salvation.”

The discernment of free market economics requires a cognitive condition pervious to empirical factual knowledge, and with his nihilistic legislation he is systematically transmogrifying free enterprise into a redistributive welfare construct. Just recently Obama sent Congress a 152-page bill to create a new Consumer Financial Protection Agency that would protect Americans from unscrupulous practices and make financial products easier to understand. I see no synonymity with the aforementioned to that of Obama's “light touch,” unless his version of light touch is a hammer and Whac-A-Mole.

To illustrate further how our government is usurping our liberties a Senate Bill would fine people more than $1000 for refusing health care coverage. The income tax system [legalized theft] will be utilized as the mechanism for fine collections, and as we all know the income tax system is a flawless machine. Subsidies would be provided for the poor and many middle-class families, which is code for governmentally enforced rapacity of the aggregate. A combination of higher taxes and cuts in projected Medicare and Medicaid spending are two constituent elements of a system designed to facilitate a variant of utopian socialism. Voluntary sacrifice will be a key component of our future, but surely I am not the only one who has concerns.

Hmmm, perhaps I shouldn't have used these two individuals, who obviously share the same brain cell, to prove my point. I would never claim to be omniscient, but I know I am smarter than the two troglodytes that appeared on the preceding video. The mainstream media and Acorn's community myrmidon continue their theanthropic veneration of Obama while the rest of us who are lucid are fighting for the very liberties they seem to resent. And remember Janeane Garafolo's statements that the individuals who attended the tea parties were all but racist primates? And we, who have to fight to assert our intellectual relevance within the sphere of socio-political import, are finding ourselves nugatory and lost to relegation. But have no fear, and avoid falling into a pit of hopeless despair. Watching the last two videos will help us remember why we are doing what we are doing, and how important it is to make our voices heard. I hope you and your family have a wonderful 4th of July, be happy, have fun, and be safe.

I think it is instructive to see the complete disconnect between what the POTUS says to the people, and the tyrannical nature of the legislation he and his colleagues support. He speaks in platitudes, and acts as a predator.

As for the "not so dynamic duo" in the first video, I would refer them to the quote on my sidebar...

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen."

Samuel Adams, speech at the Philadelphia State House, August 1, 1776

Nicely stated, and an excellent quote.

Happy Independence Day, LP. We live to fight another day...and a glorious day it is.

Obama's health care plan is scary. Those two girls obviously don't know what they are talking about.
